My first hero
This was and still is my original favorite woman who kicked butt. There are many that have followed in her foot steps but none of them can change hair, clothes, and makeup all while spinning around that causes a light burst and electric chimes to sound! Yes it is my opinion that Linda Carter captured the original essence of a woman super hero. I would like to hear your thoughts on the subject and while your at it tell me who your first favorite super hero was, male or female.

I loved Wonder Woman too! You know they are making a new movie about her don't you. Of course it won't be Lynda Carter, but maybe whoever they pick will do well.

Oh! I forgot to tell you, I had a wonder woman bathing suit!
I LOVED Wonder Woman!! My cousin and I used to play Wonder Woman/The Bionic Woman (Jamie Sommers) and I always insisted on being Wonder Woman. I thought she was the coolest! I remember the day my mom brought me home the costume. I thought I'd died and gone to Heaven. :-)

my superhero would have been the original Superman on black&white Tv, he was tied with "The Lone Ranger"..I used to jump on the back of the sofa and ride it like a horse whenever the theme song came on..
I tried that not too long ago and well.....it didn't work very well.
Wonderwoman was cool. But mainly because she was so hot. What bad guy wouldn't mind getting their butt kicked by a woman who looked like her and dressed in a sexy one-piece?
As for me, my first and foremost favorite superhero is Superman. Let's face it, the guy is strong and can fly. He has lasers that shoot out of his eyes. I mean, really, how cool is that? And the fact that he can fly into space and not explode? No human could do that.
Next up would be Spider-Man. he may not be able to fly, but he's still strong, and being able swing around on webs that you can shoot out of your own wrists - either because of a man-made device or because of a genetic mutation (you decide) - is just plain cool.
I loved Wonderwoman! I think it used to come on on Sunday nights and I would make my parents tape it while we went to church. I had the lunch box and those metal kid tv trays. My brother always tried to steal mine..he was a closet wonder woman fan!
Wonder Woman was my favorite, too. I used to make my mom tell me (repeatedly) the story of when I was born - I was such a big baby (bigger than a set of twins born that same day) that the nurses loved to carry me around and they called me "Wonder Woman". It was my first (and best) nickname.
