Painting and a fever
We are finally finished with the painting. I promise that the pictures we be forth coming. I actually have to go get another quart of paint because of the color the paint that was on the wall was so dark, even with primer and two coats it still peeks through. I won't have to trim it out again, Mr. Bubbles did a great job at that, just the main wall, going down the stairwell.
Yesterday the youngest mini bubble awoke, 2 hours after normal waking hours, with a fever of 101.7! ACK! I called the nurse and she got me an appointment for that morning. The doctor came in and checked his ears and throat and breathing and then milked his finger for blood to see if it was an infection elsewhere and found NOTHING! The doctor said it might be rosiola(rose-e-ola). Common in 1 year olds, not contagious, and not treatable. It supposedly is a fever and followed by a rash. Thankfully his fever broke last night and he is eating today. Still tired and grumpy but no fever.
So that is why I haven't been around in like....ummm......FOREVER! Thank you for keeping track and the comments. I am back, I think. LOL!!!!

Welcome back:-}
Wow...they treat fevers in infants differently there. When our son was less than a year old, if he had a fever of over 101, the pediatrician's office would say give him Tylenol, and if it didn't break with Tylenol, call back. If it kept coming back after Tylenol wore off for a few days, make an appointment. But they never took blood...and my son had his share of ear infections his first year and a half. He has had a wonderfully healthy winter, and so far spring, so he and we have been fortunate!
Hope your mini bubble feels better soon!
fevers are scarry, glad your little one is better today!!
